Avatar AU dump

Making my own Avatar AU out of boredom/for fun. (Most of these were drawn back in september, the new ones are the airbenders poses)

The art of bending has become a cause for monetary gain, bending masters will only teach those who can afford their tutelage so skilled benders have become more scarce.

The Avatar is, of course, a special case. Tutors will line up around the block to teach the Avatar bending in their respective arts to claim the title of the Avatars bending master. It’s good for business after all.

Gaining a mastery in all 4 elements the Avatar finds her purpose in these times to be somewhat redundant, so much power and yet she is not truly needed, instead she has become a bragging right for greedy businessmen and a figurehead for people to use to solve all of their self inflicted problems.

These squabbles were petty and her purpose was trivial. Perhaps that’s why she decided to kick the ant hill, cause a riot, have some fun.

Some people are just born bad eggs, this bad egg happened to be the Avatar.

These characters are Ukiuk, Chie, Mida and Shen.

Ukiuk is gentle with an unsteady hand, his ability to bend water is often hindered by his confidence. He will often proclaim that he doesn’t need bending at all, he has no desire to master it.

Chie is the only formally trained bender within the group. She is cool and calm at all times, bending fire with elegance and unwavering confidence. She has a lot of patience but tends to get bored of waiting for people who can’t keep up with her.

Mida is unpredictable and silly. She’s quick and light on her feet but her bending only comes in short bursts. She can use air bending to give herself slight boosts when jumping and running but she’s an amateur who’s not willing to learn.

Shen is a hard working, humble and generous young man. He is able to bend sand and glass but mostly he does it for craft, he likes to make small figurines of people and animals that he meets. Outside of bending he works with machinery with his Father.
